Today we took a trip down to the lesser traveled routes (at least for me) in the evening. It’s a long weekend and not much on my agenda, the trip was a bit of fun.
Moving on Sharae Faisal, made a cut to Karsaz Road using the new Karsaz flyover (bridge), straight down to the Stadium Road Bridge, then the new Hasan Square Bridge, and then 2 consecutive underpasses at Liaqatabad and Nazimabad.
Karachi’s been facing quite a traffic situation, too many cars, very few “organized” roads, and not to forget some heavily collapsed and dilapidated ones too. So, newly carpeted roads, bridges and underpasses were much needed for quite some time. Oh well, better late than never.
Ended the long trip with an early dinner at Nihari Inn, Boat Basin. I wonder if you guys have visited, but the stuff here is good, having tasted quite a few items from the menu, I’d say it’s definitely worth a try. I assure you’ll come again for more 🙂
That’s a wrap for tonight.
