progress… nowhere in sight…

Its Eid season, and generally you would find people celebrating and really having a good time. This year round, the situation is somewhat lesser ceremonious. One of the factors for this is clearly the threat of terror across the country, thanks to the so called “war on terror” campaign, that’s come knocking down hard at our door, and barged in. The second reason, and which directly affects the common man, is the rate of inflation and unusually hiked up prices, such that even travelling from one stop to the other in public transport becomes a pain.

The War on Terror campaign in itself is a useless and probably the most pathetic excuse the US could come up to take over the oil reserves in the Middle Eastern region, and also to gradually take over and crush rebel (for the US) powers. Such powers are clearly the Islamic states and those that generally are not affected by the political corruption which the US prefers.

These are all threats to the US, which it says is a direct threat to the rest of the world, because it doesn’t go in the interest of the West, at large. Regardless of what the US and its dogs say, it’s all hogwash! The main reason why people around the world are dissatisfied is because of the US itself. So if you have so many countries being troubled by one single country touting itself as the only super power in the whole world, then it is this specific country that’s more of a terror threat than any other.

This is pure logic… that is if the people in the US actually apply logic in their lives!

As for the economy, it’s all part of the game to make us more dependent on loans and aid from the US and its allies. Though we may be allies for the whole world too, we’re still worse off than India, which gets a nuclear deal, whereas we don’t. Why? Simple, the US chooses to trade nuclear weapons with India, but if we have acquired it without dealing with the US, they don’t like it.

The economy here is in doldrums these days. Not much can be said about it. Worse off is the state of the leadership of the country, which I can say as a matter of fact, is the worst thing that can ever happen to us. Zardari was, and still is the most corrupt person we’ve seen. And look at the whole bunch of idiots up in the parliament. Will they run their country? They don’t even know how to think outside their pockets! No wonder we’re heading toward downfall… again, thank you US… you guys are the worst thing that could ever happen to the world…

I think you need a reality check. US-India nuclear deal is for Civlian purposes and the US doesnt choose “to trade nuclear weapons with India”.

And, one more point. It could be flattering for you to compare Pakistan with India but Indians, well ,dont think much of Pakistan, a nuclear power,ex-proliferator WMDs and center of world Terror. India is projected on current growth trends to be the 3rd or the 2nd largest economy by 2040(Forget that India plans to grow much faster than that). Pakistan is barely a middle level power when compared to India. Please dont compare the 2 countries. You cant compare Afghanistan or Iran with China, similarly you cant compare Pakistan with India.
